044: Rishika Gaur – A really big heart

A true story from our reader, Rishika Gaur. View the original story here (on Facebook).

This was drawn by Inkology. Check out his Facebook page for more. It’s updated regularly.

Even though I personally believe in these things, I won’t normally post on topics purely relating to kindness or charity. This site is for the topics of business, entrepreneurship and success. However, this time I made an exception (again), because it was requested by one of our readers, Rishika Gaur. Yes, I have a soft spot for you guys.

This is her story of a random act of kindness by two little boys of less a privileged background. This happened in Meerut City, India.

Other than the warm feelings you can get from reading this comic, I hope it encourages everyone to try doing a random act of kindness once in awhile. Don’t just do it for the other person, the act itself is really is a self-worth booster.

If you want to read more heartwarming stories, why not checkout the classic book Chicken Soup for the Soul? I’ve linked to the 20th anniversary edition, which means the Chicken Soup series has 20 years worth of books. You can go check them all out!
