My Thoughts

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is, in short, a man larger than life. You may know him from watching the World Wrestling Entertainment’s programmes. You may know him from movies or TV shows. You may know him from looking at fitness blogs.

The Rock is so prominent, he has become a pop culture icon. He personifies bad-assery, toughness and strength. What impresses me more, is the road he took to get to where he is today. However, what impresses me most, is that he is still humble, filial to his family and never forgot his roots or where he came from.

This comic is a favourite for me. I grew up watching The Rock on TV at wrestling matches. He was a childhood hero, every boy wanted to be The Rock because of who he was on screen. I do think he stood out and ultimately became more successful than other wrestlers because he is very charismatic. That set him apart from the rest. In business terms, it was his unique selling point.

If you are in your own #7bucks situation, or was at that point before, tell me your story in the comments below. My situation right now isn’t as bad as #7bucks, but I’m still hustling everyday to get these comics out there for the world to see.

And of course, don’t forget to subscribe to Rational Comics. New comics on Mondays.
